Early Childhood Development
De Colores
Parents with children aged 0-5 have the opportunity to learn about early childhood development during these important formative years. Children are not only prepared for success in Kindergarten, but bilingual case managers spend time in home visits building a relationship with each family, offering developmental assessments and identifying any special challenges that their children may be facing, work with them on communication, vocabulary, and brain development.
All programs and classes require pre-registration. To learn more, please call 253-499-4245.
About De Colores: De Colores is a home-based program that strengthens Latinx parent/caregiver’s capacity to support their children’s cognitive, physical well-being and social emotional development in their home and in the community so that Latinx children will enter kindergarten ready to learn and succeed in school with positive relationship skills. This program receives funding from King County Best Starts for Kids.
