Complete Your Education

The Open Doors Youth Reengagement Program supports young people ages 16 to 21 who have left school or are significantly behind in credits and need an alternative pathway to complete their education.

The program provides flexible learning opportunities that allow students prepare for and complete the GED exam, while receiving academic and personal support.

  • Personalized learning plans
  • Preparation for taking the GED test
  • Tutoring and academic support
  • Mentoring and guidance from program staff
  • Career readiness and job skills development
  • Support navigating college and vocational opportunities
Age: Be between 16 and 21 years old by September 1st of the current school year.
Credit Status: Be severely credit deficient (meaning they are unable or unlikely to graduate by age 21 based on their current credit count).
Enrollment Status: Have dropped out of high school or been recommended by a mentor or designated school, state agency, or juvenile justice case managers.
